I wouldn't drive that far with the wrap on the M3 so I would tow that one and make sure you protect the front end. That would be my deciding factor.
Also, I would see if anyone in your area installs ClearPlex, it's a film that goes on your windshield to protect it from rock chips, the film takes the damage, not your windshield. I would have that put on which ever one you choose to drive. We paid $200-$300 for it (forgot exactly) and IMO that's a great investment considering a new windshield is $1000+.
