When I picked up my 10 Coupe back in December, the car had just come off the truck about an hour earlier. I told the dealer not to even wash the car or remove the interior seat/floor/lower door wrappings. Of course the fuel tank was pinned on empty with the fuel pump symbol flashing. My salesman (CA, but i hate that term) asked if he should go fill the car up or give me a voucher. I took the voucher, went to the Shell station up the block and the car took 17.1 gallons of fuel. I thought the car only had a 16.5 gallon tank.
Guess it was close to stalling out.

Come to think of it, the last time I purchased a new car and it didn't come with a full tank was back in 1985, a Corvette of all things. Even motorcycle dealerships fill up the tank. But I guess the way the economy is, dealers are just trying to cut corners any way they can.

So to the original question, yes, I got a full tank of Shell premium fuel.
