I'm using Redline 5w50 in my engine, after not being happy with oil consumption on Mobil 1 0w40 or Redline 5w40. The 5w50 has exhibited comparable consumption to Castrol 10w60 on my car.
The specs are available for anyone with the brains to find them. My car has BE rod bearings, installed 8000 miles ago.
In case anyone can't read.
