just spend some time in a slower run group than usual (if you have advanced too much already), create some space, pick some safe corners, crank the wheel and hammer the throttle. you'll get used to it quick.

Just be sure you check with the event organizer first, ones like NCRC will give you the rest of the day off for drifting.
