Would you call the Mercedes C63AMG a MuscleCar? The Mustang in its 5.4L glory is making over 100hp/litre, better fuel economy than the M3 and the darn thing can turn a corner. I would definitely concede this other than the fact the cars are making good hp/litre numbers. Even the 5.0L Mustang is over 82hp/litre and it too can turn corners.
The only reason why people call Mustangs MuscleCars is the fact thats what they were in the past, although technically the Mustang was a Pony car. The Muscle Cars were the GTO's, 454 Chevelles and so on, I'm dating myself now.
