I think that FR is the best color for a M3 and is perfect for SG. What do you mean black is safe? It's BORING. Black is for any other car, FR is for a M. I also really like extended FR which just adds even more extra luxury feel and awesomeness.
FR is not closer to orange or brown, it's more like a mixture of red, brown and orange. Very pleasing to the eye and shows off the true character of the amazing car.
The photo is way off for the color. My pic is very close to real life.
