The second code for thermostat monitoring is most likely just a result of the voltage on the Coolant Temp Sensor being out of range...... this is nothing to be alarmed about.

+1. When temp. sensor goes out, or any sensor for that matter, it shuts the circuit which causes a too high resistance (blocked circuit-way due to the bad sensor) which cause the CEL show.
Just have dealer change it and you should be all set!
