^I see.

for me it's a lot easier. I was from Ohio, since moving to VA, I've never changed my driver's license so I'm able to renew over and over again. (based on my parent's house) When I bought my car, I simply registered and titled it in Ohio and I purchased VA car insurance, told them my residence in VA etc.

I'm kosher on income taxes. I pay my state taxes fully to Va. Ohio once asked me to pay taxes but i sent them a proof that I'm not in ohio anymore. The only thing Ohio can find out is that I have a "discrepency". I claimed property in Ohio, but no income based on Va residence, yet I'm still registered to vote in Ohio. i'll fix the voting part in next election so I think i can fully clear this up. (lots of ppl have property in one state, but live and earn a living in another.)

But car insurance wise, I think I'm okay.
