Yes, I agree. One thing that helps is to use silicone spray lubricant every so often on all the rubber seals and weather-stripping. It keeps the rubber from becoming dry and more brittle, which can lead to loss of a tight seal. It also keeps that stuff from squeaking when rubbing.
