I like it. It looks nice with the HVAC cluster.
However, if you have the power sunshade (like I do), that button sits pretty alone in a strip down below. On mine, it is surrounded by the heated seats button.
On yours, it's not an issue since that strip is not present.

I looked in the manual and the sunshade control is located in the same cluster of 6 buttons under the climate control. Along with the sunshade is hill decent control and PDC. The other three buttons appear to be unused as there is no icon on them. I have PDC with nav and don't have the PDC button. I'm guessing the PDC button/light is only for those without nav or for another model 3 Series?
