We know the GTR is unmatched on the track but how is it for normal daily driving?

Driver's Republic - Getting to know the Nissan GTR: http://magazines.drivers-republic.co...t-r10054/?fm=2

"I'm not sure I've ever been quizzed so much about a car, nor had such overwhelmingly positive reactions. A Ferrari tends to put up a barrier – perhaps it suggest you’re rich and arrogant to many; a Porsche tends to slip by unnoticed, but the GT-R just draws people in.”

“What is clear is that it’s easy to drive the GT-R quickly – but the same could be said of the 997 Turbo, or a Lamborghini LP560-4, neither of which are labeled ‘uninvolving’ or ‘clinical’. That particular argument has been constructed by people with an axe to grind, normally a very expensive axe that’s parked in their driveway and suddenly doesn’t seem like such good value or quite as special as it once did.”

"Some people will probably find the ride too stiff for everyday use, some people will always mistake the GT-R's competence for a clinical detachment. But a car with such focus, such a dedicated and obsessive team behind it and such immense performance could only be described as boring by somebody who hasn't driven it or someone with a very good reason to actively dislike it. The GT-R lives up to the hype on real roads - it really is a new benchmark in so many ways. To live with one for a week is a privilege, but the fact that you could drive it for a lifetime and still not get bored, is what makes the GT-R truly remarkable.

You're going to get all sorts of opinions but only you can decide which is right for you. I've gotta say though, the resentment is strong in this thread. Personally, I'd say go with the GT-R hands down, if you can afford it. It's a hell of a deal especially in comparison to the GT2. With the GT3 it's a matter of personal taste and what you're looking for but the GT-R is far more exclusive. But with any of these cars, you're now in territory where BMW has no contender.
