Twenty-five years ago when it was pretty much just the 3, 5 and 7 series BMWs were viewed as same sausage, different lengths.
Today there are so many variants and nomenclature's that it takes a die-hard BMW fanboi to spew out the current available vehicles.
I just stick to the "smaller" variants since that is where my interests have always veered towards. I wish I could add "lighter" but given even the two series is close to pushing two tons I think BMW's from now will be forever estranged from that word.
