Not sure how much of an issue it actually is but some will tell you to mount the senders and switches on the chassis. Run a stainless braided line from the engine to the senders.
If oil pressure is a concern, I would recommend installing a pressure switch attached to a piezo siren. May need to put a defeat switch so it is not going off when the oil is warm at idle. You will very likely not catch the oil light before it is too late. The siren is unmistakable.
