BE Bearings recommends 10W60 after using their increased clearance bearing shells.
I've never had noticeable oil consumption using any oil, including the 5W50s. I've been running BE bearings since I got the engine.

As soon as I got back out on track the car felt much more responsive, especially in the upper RPM range. Ever since that day, I've stuck with 5W-50 or 15W-50, regardless of brand, just not Liqui Moly.
Exactly my experience. It just feels so much happier with 300V 5W50.
