Well fellas, I finally got around to installing my new plenum! I was one of the early pre-orders back in February. It originally arrived around May 26th, but FedEx handled it rough and left a small crack on the lower bottom entry section.Huge props to Salman at Infinity Design—he quickly shipped out a replacement bottom piece that arrived yesterday, so I knocked out the install today. Just a heads-up to be careful when handling it, as the carbon is thin and fragile.
Installation Notes:
- Time: 45–60 minutes total to pull the OEM unit and get the Infinity Design plenum on.
Sensor Fitment:
- The front side sensor has a plastic locking clip that cannot be transferred over. The OEM bracket has a circular ledge that the Infinity Design bracket lacks. Hopefully, it holds up fine without it!
Overall, it looks absolutely sexy. I specifically chose Infinity Design because I think the aesthetics beat out Eventuri (installation of Infinity Design bit more complex and time consuming, because I did install Eventuri Plenum and intake on friends car myself)
Everything is bolted down tight, but it got too late to fire it up tonight. I’m driving it tomorrow and doing a back-to-back comparison with a buddy's car who runs the full Eventuri plenum and intake. Stay tuned!
