With my 2022 S1000RR, on cold start, the RPMs are limited I forget what the starting ceiling RPM is. As the engine warms up, the DME for the bike begins to raise the rev limiter until the engine reaches optimal running temperature where you get full red line.

Jealous; I wish BMW fitted the K1600 with such a system. I just follow BMW's old-school method from my E30 days.

Truth Bomb. A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
