Yes, that is a way to do that with many cars/trucks and I’ve done that with two other trucks I have that have drain plugs and always there is a good amount of coolant that will come out of the block, especially, but mostly those rubber tubes are at the bottom of the radiator, at least on my tundra and exploder. Definitely I can do that but a there will still be some volume stuck in the do88 radiator. I’d like to know how the procedure is to use vacuum suction to drain the system as there is always a good amount stuck in the block.
