the ones i removed from some customer-delivered diffs (which had these clutches installed themselfes or somewhere else) are worn out after ~500-1.000km (or even less in racing applications).
the clutches then look worse then a 250.000km oem clutch disc.
tbh, it is not that easy to manufacture such discs in high quality and durability. even drexler and zf do not produce them in house but do have a specialist company that produces these discs for them with all the additional heat- and surface-treatments required to make them last.
to date i never saw an aftermarket clutch disc that lasts nearly so long and comes close to the performance of the original zf/drexler parts. but i saw a lot of these aftermarket clutches failing prematurely (incl. collateral damage they caused). this is why for me there is no alternative to zf/drexler friction discs.
