BTW, FCP has the Bosch set for $460, whereas the BMW part is $300 each.

I did scoure the section on injector failures, but came away with nothing more than if the injector sticks open, you can flood/hydrolock/ruin the block.

Are injectors a wear item that should be swapped at a mileage interval? I saw something posted that 80-100k is the “when you should” replace them, but there is no empirical data supporting this (at least from what I found).
we spend $400 alone just doing sparks and oil, might as well just do the fuel injectors and not worry about it for a while.

mechanical parts wear and tear no matter how you look at it miles, hours, etc..
