Chrisyphus I appreciate your contributions along with everyone else's in this forum, just a wealth of information.
A couple of questions for you regarding wider rod bearing clearances.
Out of your sample set with failed main bearings,
1.what rod bearings were used and what were the clearances on them?
2. what oil was used? Would oil weight and viscosity have an effect on oil pressure during these disco parties at operating temperatures?
