Agree, 'concept' and options certainly appealing, particularly for user accessibility.
That said, a few questions come to mind with a removable CF lid design...jus some thoughts, points to consider, certainly not criticisms.
Not to say removable lid design approach is inferior, impossible or will not work.
However, over time, under numerous dynamic load and temperature cycles these conditions do pose some inherent removable lid long-term, and use challenges to overcome.
- Fitment/Leak - 'Resealing risk' of leaks with any imperfect lid, reapplication and/or refastening compared to a one-piece design
- 'Lid Flex' - Structural longevity, cracking, finish peel due to material flex, already some known issues; others have reported/observed with earlier one piece designs. Potentially, lid flex may exacerbate stresses with multiple fastening points, that along with CF fastening especially sensitive to and susceptible to over torque related damage
