I’ve thought about that combo before, but it’s really not necessary unless you’re in a 6-speed with a CAE or another self-centering shifter. That setup benefits from very stiff mounts.
For DCT, I wouldn’t run 95A engine + 80A trans. The shifts hit harder on the drivetrain, and you actually want the trans mount to absorb a bit of that shock. A setup like 95A engine mounts with the 034 trans mount is a safer balance if you really want it stiffer.
80A engine + 80A trans on a DCT is fine too, but again, the 034 trans mount would be the better choice overall.
Just be prepared to raise your idle if you go with 95A engine mounts to keep the vibration manageable. The added vibration is what leads to premature wear, so softening that at idle helps a lot.
