For the 4 Series coupe the 61615A35F07 BMW WaterBlade "wet" blades appear "natural" (factory default?) while for the X5 it's a retrofit accessory that requires an additional installation kit: "
To convert to a wet arm system (spray nozzles in the windshield wiper arm), the WaterBlade Kit, which contains all the necessary hose lines, holders, hose connectors, etc., is required once. In addition, the BMW WaterBlade wiper blades are required (separate part number). In the event of wear, only the BMW WaterBlade wiper blades are replaced. Part number: 61615A121A0". Simply put, you can use smaller blades with fixing adapters but you can't use larger ones than your factory default.
Well, for the 4 Series coupe the factory default appears to be "dry" 61619478361. The 61615A35F07 BMW WaterBlade "wet" blades are a retrofit accessory too, but somehow RealOEM claims the installation kit 61615A121A0 is not necessary and the "wet" blades can be installed to simply replace the "dry" defaults. They won't work "wet" then (without the water supply connection?), obviously.
