Edit to add: I just delivered the CAD models for our S63 plenums to our 3D metal printing partners for a first prototype, so that’s finally…. mercifully…. thankfully off my table for a couple of weeks lol which means I can throw myself back into what I love for a little while: doing extremely low profit and time consuming development projects on niche issues for the E92 M3 🤣 in my time off from doing the stuff that makes us money, I’m going to try to finally finish the S65 velocity stacks as well as a quick little power steering project I want to mess with- a leak proof (but not sealed) cap and, if I have time to sort it all out, an electric over hydraulic power steering system to reduce engine drag and excess heat generated by drastically over-spinning the OE power steering pump. All while also adding variable power steering assist in addition to and not interfering with servotronic functionality.
Me and a few guys from the shop had a couple of track days last weekend and I missed 3/8 sessions because my power steering was overheating.
