Affirmative, Recaro slider models for CS/GT seats can certainly bolt directly to floor.
That said, one feature of
MS or any another mount is assistance to dial-in eye line [sight picture thru dash/ windscreen]; proper visibility, position is key since seat height is fixed once installed.
Without the MS mount, I found my eye line a tad too low. MS mount adds ~.9 in which is the 'Goldinglocks" setting for me, plus provides multiple mounting holes for final seat placement. Didn't go with MS seat belt bracket [pictured below], preferred VAC seat belt bracket design since no increase to overall seat height added.
Essentially, it's a matter of personal choice...how low do you go?
