It’s not really an argument. I’m just trying to explain where wheels are failure critical or fatigue critical or fracture critical. The wheel face is not, if correctly designed, a critical part of a wheel design so “machining” vs. “forging” makes no meaningful difference. The wheel face is stiffness critical, if shooting for minimum weight, and both methods result in the same stiffness.
Volks are awesome wheels. I had a set of the original TE37 in bronze on my Spa Yellow s2000. You’ll love them.
