One thing I also noticed is there is measurably more engine noise in the cabin after the install from 3,500rpm and above, which I actually kind of enjoy.

I took the car for a quick canyon run yesterday morning and the car feels much tighter than before, and the shifting under load is more consistent than with the worn OEM mounts. This setup is not one I would recommend for a daily, but for a weekend canyon/track car, I'm mad at myself for not doing this sooner.

Thanks to everyone who helped on this forum!
I had BW motor mounts and OEM transmission mounts for 20k-ish miles, I think. When I had my E90 at Frankfurt, the shop mechanic didn't recommend the BW mounts over OEM because the vibrations in the cabin during idle confused him if there were actual issues.
I do miss BW mounts and the rumble but there is the comfort of the cabin not vibrating anymore.
In the future, if there is an OEM replacement that doesn't have the downside of OEM mounts sagging. I'll go with that and OEM transmission mounts.
