There’s not enough data to say definitively. I am one of only a handful of folks who have put on a second set. The VAC bearings that came off after like 70k miles were pristine. I now think the one and done mindset is probably fine, assuming your prior owner didn’t slap another set from bmw in there (it happens). With BE confirmed in your case - you’re good. Would focus your preventative dollars on bolt on vanos covers, new fuel injectors, and an inline fuel filter. Welcome!
