1. Carbahn started the teardown this week and found the block is too damaged to use, so I need to pay an additional $4k to source another block. So the “race credits” are lower than projected. This is now a $41k job without cams.
2. Being in California I think I am heading for trouble doing this on a street car. If I want to play games, I should start by swapping x-pipes and software between tests.

I’d love the cams to further emphasize the peaky and revvy nature of the s65, but I just don’t think it makes sense in my case.

Motor will hopefully be built in 2 weeks, and then we’ll see if the install can be done in ‘24, or if it will be a New Year’s present.
