it's out! spent almost as much time fighting with the secret adhesive as i did the actual spot welds, but it's out.
now i've gotta decide how and if to fill in the handful of spot welds where i went too far through. looks like most that went through are harmless, but there's one or two where it's a triple stack and there's something underneath that's also welded on.
