There is no difference between the two, I have an E92 single hump dash I got from
Move Over in my E90.

Can you please elaborate on this? My car being originally a double hump E90 with the M button just calls whatever I last set it with iDrive when it was still in the car before I swapped dash boards. Would like the ability to change those settings now and was told the same thing by the person who coded my car but it just doesn't work. Is there additional coding that needs to be done to allow that 3 second button press to store current settings? The M in the display is supposed to blink after the 3-second press to confirm they are stored?
