I had the same the experience with them. I had the OEM mounts out and figured I might as well replace them even though they looked pretty fresh. Switched to the 034 mounts and when idling the transmission noise was so loud, I thought something must be broken. I have a crappy SPEC clutch right now and the combined noise from both was unbearable.
Switched back to the old OEM mounts and I can sit in the car at idle without getting a headache.
