I need to know how to properly remove the outer CV of my E92 M3 driveshaft. I have recently paid a premium to buy one of the last sets of new driveshafts in Germany, 2 months later the CV boot fails.

I have tried tapping/hitting the CV with a hammer - no succes. Have a new original outer CV boot but service manual is useless and can't find anything online.

Has anyone actually ever done this? Pls enlighten me.
