I don't know the answer, but here are my thoughts. I just got my first BMW, a m240, and it also has the same packages yours has. After driving it on a road trip, I realized my loaded Telluride has a far better driving experience when it comes to driver assist. I can drive 100 miles with only touching the steering wheel occasionally. After about 45 seconds, maybe a minute, a message and chime alerts you to keep a hand on the wheel. I can bypass this by having a leg (while wearing shorts) come up and touch the bottom of the wheel while having a sandwich in my hand. It did very well following the lanes without any wandering, very impressive. The 2 series evidently has none of this. By looking further, it looks like the higher series and probably some of the SUVs have the better driver assist package. It looks like they dumbed it down a bit in the lesser models.
Just my thoughts since I haven't shopped anything but this car, but have seen it mentioned by others who have more expensive cars than mine.
