A 2024 update is due.
So far I have done 13 trackdays and 11 with my car.
7 days at WGI
4 days at LRP
2 days at NJMP (Cayman clubsport)
I am still shaking up winter issues.
The 7 days at WGI and 1 day at LRP were on last year Pirelli Corsa 305/30/19 and 285/30/19. I like both the size and the Corsa Asym 2.
2 days at LRP on 2017 MPSS 295/30/19 and 285/30/19 were fun but not quick. 61-63 range
1 day at LRP on 275/35/19 PZC4 and 265/35/19 Trofeo R was fun at LRP and got into 59sec range. But the driver side front wheel bearing was toast. Got a new one from Core4 and installed already.
The current issue being chased is a small coolant leak someplace that requires adding coolant after a track day. No leak or evidance as to were it is going. ACM is investigating.
The 265/35/19 Trofeo is a monster size and it ate the harness that connects to ambient temp sensor and horn. I can do with out until ACM will deal with it after the coolant mystery is solved.
In the mean time I am enjoying driving other cars such as Cayman S, Cayman GTS, Cayman Clubsport, Cayman GT4 and Mustang. all different and all fun on their own right. But my love is reserved for the E92 M3.
