Doing this from memory at the moment and will dig a little more… when I picked up my M3 a few years ago, turns out the fan was on its way out. Shop replaced the fan… but things still didn’t work. There’s a fan relay under the passenger footwell if I recall…ultimately, they followed the trace back all the way back near the battery and had to re-solder… their thinking was along the lines of it being due to excessive current draw as the fan was failing. Ultimately got it working and no issues since.
