The DCT fluid doesn't completely drain out, so there will be some remaining, and you won't get the proper amount on the initial fill, especially with the temperatures being cold. On the second fill attempt, that's when you go and top it off completely at a higher temperature.
The only time an adaptation will even help is if you change your clutch packs.

Alright so sounds like I should get temps up then do a top up with a liter or two? What temps should I be looking for on top up?
