Supercharging is not cheap. Tesla owners benefit from promotions like free SC for a period of time or over 1,000 - 10,000 miles. Also can get free miles via referrals and cashing in those incentives for more SC miles. I had one year of free SC on my first Tesla and 10,000 miles for my second one. Used 1/3 of those in my first year, mostly during the summer when our home electricity costs were $0.18/kWh. Now that we are back to $0.07/kWh I charge at home.
Depends where you live, but once they open up the SC network to Bmw prepare to pay $25-$35 for a “fill up.”
