True, but once upon a time those of us who DON'T want RFTs were in a similar situation. Either don't buy the car at all, or put different tires on it right away. I think I binned the factory tires on my E90 before I'd had it a week.
I agree it would be better to have the choice as part of the ordering/purchase process. But if they're going to choose a side, I think fewer people will be upset with non-RFTs being that default.
