please start with checking your battery health, for a lil under $300 at autozone you could get a battery. my friend had the same issue with the DCT not going into Drive and Reverse, it would just kick him into Neutral. while we were about to leave the track and drive home.
although since you were driving when it happened i would inspect the ground straps also.
i would sort the wiring on the wheel speed sensor first as you mentioned.

Yeah ground straps are a good idea too. Problem is the car is an hour away from me. I need a bigger garage!
