I had a full tank [about 15 gallons] of E85 a few years ago. Car ran just fine. Only issue was right after starting the motor; idle would be slightly erratic, but a touch on the pedal would fix it. MPG went from the usual ~13mpg to about 9mpg.
Not long ago I put in just 1/4 of E85 to a tank that had 1/4 of gas and it was a nightmare. Same map, same everything, same station.
Since E85 is not 85% of ethanol, I believe this one had a different blend.
