Very strange to hear that your E/Race isn't loud. Maybe not loud enough for your taste? LOL.
I have the E/Race with AA test pipe plus evolve stage 2 tune. Before the TP, I also didn't think it was as loud as what others said but didn't really enjoy the drone the axleback only set up was producing. After the TP and tune, very little drone which I actually happen to love! Also, not sure if the tune has anything to do with this, but I do get more pronounced rumbling right after up-shifting and aggressive rev-matching bark when down shifting; both when the shifting happens around 3.5k rpm. In short, it's a music to my ears!!! BTW, very little smell but nothing unmanageable even in my E93 with the top down.
