The GT4 in stock form is a great driving car but Porsche purposely gimped transmission gearing on the car to make it uncompetitive with the GT3. The long gearing makes it feel less powerful and not rev as fast.
The aftermarket has come and fixed it though. Changing the gearing completely changes the car.
