I drove my AP Racing 9660's without the anti-rattle clips for ~2 weeks before the rattling of the pads got to me and I put them in yesterday (and I agree with their video that getting the car airborne and the wheels off was more effort than installing the clips). What a difference for a car that spends a fair amount of time on the street.
Besides the cost and perhaps the ever so slightly more time when swapping pads, are there any other downsides to these clips? Would seem a no brainer even on a track car but for those who don't run them, would be interested to know why.

there is no downside really, sometimes just an extra few minutes to get them on right.
