In my case I took the A/C belt off as I wanted to clean up the block as well as replacing one of the pulleys. Didn't pay attention to the A/C belt routing when removing it prior to doing the rod bearings. Thought it was great that the routing was covered in the Turner + ECS guides. But they got it wrong - cars up to May 15 2008 have the belt routed on top of the power steering pump pulley. Cars produced after May 15 2008 has the belt routed under the power steering pump pulley.
Weird that both got it wrong - one looked in the others instructions..🙃 - and what if it would be routed the wrong way, AC goes mad?
