Also for those that ever get this issue again. I wish I had remembered. I would have swapped to a pan with the dipstick tube welded in. I regret not doing this the 2nd time as the car was down for the repair so might have just had it out for a little longer for the new pan. Also for those doing rod bearings, I would definitely do the dipstick tube pan at that time as well.
