ST60 would be way more than enough for weekend warrior though. It's only when you get into weird knockback issues that the AP racing kit shines.

I believe the Alcon kit was designed to work with most popular 18" wheel options, certainly the BW wheels and they have similar clearance to the APEX's.
But totally, if they don't work with whatever 18" wheels he's got, then AP is the way to go.
