You can run O2 extenders and make sure the ecu is flashed to stock and in emissions is turned on through a lengthy process.
This is part of the reason I just have my cat delete x pipe just hanging in my garage... just not worth the hassle anymore for me.
I'll probably buy an RKP street pipe that connects to the oem cats just so I can get increased volume and still pass smog.
