I am not sure if its just that intrusive or if the back end likes to get that loose. Tires were pilot sports with decent tread so I don't want to believe it was that but always possible. And it was a DCT and for the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to properly put it in park. Haha.
It just didn't give me the enthusiast feel that older BMWs have always given me. All personal preference and I respect it but personally wasn't my cup of tea. Excited to see what the E9X has to offer!

Would agree with you on all points. My buddy has an M4 and I've spent a good amount of time driving it. Generally numb feel to the entire experience. The MDM IS that intrusive and it does like to lose traction. The torque is really the big bonus to that platform but its usability is lacking. I could go on for quite a while and actually did in this thread -
https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1707352 but I think you're heading in the right direction where really the feel to this car is what wins most people over - throttle response, steering feel (still hydraulic), chassis feedback & balance, the high revving v8 and all of the wonderful noises it makes (induction and exhaust).
Lol but the DCT issue is the same with e9x platform - there isn't really a 'Park' you just slap it in to neutral and turn the car off and it electronically puts the car in park once shut off. Good luck on your search. Obviously I'm biased but the car and experience you get for the price with an e9x is really tough to beat.
