Not sure if this helps, but in almost to 130K miles, having run LiquiMoly for most of its life. I can go the full 5K miles between oil changes and the oil full bar doesn't drop at all.. I don't burn even half a quart.. I did preventatively refinish the Valve Covers, new gasket, etc in the summer, but it didn't lose oil before that also.. you said there isn't a leak, so it's probably not the VC or OFHG. But, for me, I don't burn any oil at all even at high mileage. I do have the tiny bit of oil escaping the oil cap, which I'm going to get them to replace this week. I see the slight leak at the cap now that the VCs are red and easier to wipe off.
Try the oil cap, and Maybe try switching to LM?
